Mrs. F. H. Atwater’s Sunshine Cake

Ingredients

- Take one cup of sugar,
- One half cup of butter,
- One cup and a half of flour,
- One teaspoon of baking powder
- And the yolks of five eggs
Instructions
Beat egg whites until they are stiff and dry, adding sugar gradually. Add yolks of eggs (beaten until thick and lemon colored). Cut and fold in flour mixed and sifted with baking powder. Bake fifty minutes in greased loaf pan in a moderate oven.
